Chuck Roast Burnt Ends - Poor Man Burnt Ends Recipe

Load video: In today's video I'm going to show you how to cook chuck roast burnt ends, also known as poor mans burnt ends on a slow n sear kettle grill. Sometimes you don't have a lot of people to feed and making brisket burnt ends just don't make sense. Turning a chuck roast into poor mans burnt ends is an excellent option in that situation. We start out with a chuck roast from Winco Foods Mckinney TX , some Adkins seasoning and some head country apply habanero sauce. When making burnt ends you can do them different ways. In this video we cubed them up prior to cooking them so that we could get seasoning all over the sides and edges. The kettle grill was running between 250 to 300 degrees the entire cook and it took roughly 5 hours to make these delicious poor man burnt ends. So next time you are hungry for some burnt ends and don't want to break the bank to make them with a brisket... Grab a chuck roast cube it up, apply your BBQ rub to it and fire the grill up with some cherry wood.. You are going to love the outcome on these chuck roast poor man burnt ends.
